L’étude a portée sur un total de 3900 patients éligibles, pris en charge dans 11 Unités de Chirurgie Ambulatoire (UCA) de l’Assistance Publique – Hôpitaux de Paris (AP-HP) entre novembre 2012 et septembre 2013. Elle concernait l’impact d’une check-list délivrée aux patients entre J -7 et J -4, sur la déprogrammation tardive en chirurgie ambulatoire. Elle a permis de démontrer qu’il n’était pas nécessaire pour les équipes de s’astreindre à ces appels de préadmission, trop en amont de celle-ci, et que l’appel à J -1 suffisait.
